Media frenzy has been part of several exciting and
challenging projects over the past year.
Our clients have been:
Smith and Nephew
Twycross Zoo
Arc Inspirations
Lancashire County Council
The brief was to supply and fit the Audio Visual requirements into the new Himalaya
visitor centre and entrance to Twycross Zoo.
The main areas that we were asked to cover were-
The main visitors dining area sound, lights.
Information desk digital signage.
Conferencing facilities audio and visual requirements with control.
The Breif
At our first meeting with the client is was clear that the main visitor centre was to provide excellent audio for potential events and promotion as well as create an environment that reflects the modern approach that the zoo has taken with regard to the architecture and design of the new building. The building is an eco build that incorporates energy and water saving features.
We set out to deliver a system that can provide the best quality and value while also meeting exacting installation standards that were demanded by the building contractor. We designed several systems that showed the client the different technologies and uses that we could offer within the budget with particular emphasis on different key areas. Once we had discussed and agreed with the client which option served their initial needs and allowed for unforeseen growth and usage of the audio and video.
We initiated contractors to install a first fix which would take into account expansion at a later date. The building site required all members of staff to undertake basic health and safety training along with training on specialised access equipment.
